Rooster + Hen is a locally grown organic food market located on the cusp of Baltimore County and Howard County, in quaint and historic Oella. Family-owned and operated by Allison Smith and Joe McRedmond, Rooster + Hen is conveniently situated in between Catonsville and Ellicott City on Frederick Road. Rooster + Hen was founded to provide the community with quality foods, good coffee, and specialty items typically only found at Farmers' Markets, seven days a week, year-round. Already a big hit among the local population, they regularly host seasonal crafting events, and other neighborly gatherings. In partnership with many other local businesses, craftspeople, and artisans, Allison and Joe aim to please, and they also take requests from their customers.
