Elkridge

Elkridge is one of Howard County's most accessible and family-friendly communities, offering a diverse range of housing options at price points that are often more attainable than other parts of the county. Located along the Route 1 corridor in southeastern Howard County, Elkridge provides quick access to BWI Airport, Fort Meade, and both Baltimore and Washington DC via I-95 and the Baltimore-Washington Parkway.

The community has deep historical roots — Elkridge was one of the earliest settlements in Maryland, dating to the 1700s, and was once a thriving port town on the Patapsco River.
